Using the site is simple. Just enter your vehicle registration or the tyre size you are looking for. Then, choose from the list of tyres that are shown on the page. Next, choose a fitting option (branch or mobile fitting) and a date for the fitting. Finally, select to pay via PayPal or using a credit/debit card. Your chosen tyres will be waiting for you or delivered to you, with nothing more to pay.

Our tyre size data are provided by HaynesPro. HaynesPro receives your vehicle registration data from the DVLA and matches this with tyre size data from the SMMT (Society of Motor Manufacturers and Traders). The SMMT database lists those tyres that they believe were fitted to your vehicle as original equipment.

On occasion, we discover that a dealer or a previous owner have upgraded the wheels/tyres before selling them on. For this reason, we suggest double-checking the actual tyre size fitted to the vehicle before ordering.

First, double-check that the vehicle registration entered was correct. Be aware that light commercial vehicles will not show up in the searches at present.

A vanity number plate can take a few weeks for the DVLA records to be updated, so it may not show right away.

The information shown is provided by the DVLA. Contact them directly through their website at www.dvla.gov.uk to have your vehicle information corrected as soon as possible.

We advise that you check the correct tyre size for your vehicle before ordering. It is your responsibility to verify that the tyre sizes ordered were correct. If you find that you have ordered the wrong tyre sizes, please call customer services on 0800 731 0133 .

The tyres ordered will be delivered to your selected fitting location ready to be fitted on the booking date specified. The fitting centre will remove the existing tyres to be changed and dispose of them safely for you. The centre will fit new tyres, including a new valve for each tyre fitted, and use a wheel balancing machine to ensure the balancing is correct. This is all included in the price paid when the order has been placed and finalised.

All our prices are fully fitted and include a new valve, computerised wheel balance. We charge customers £3.00 per tyre purchased to responsibly dispose of their old tyres. This includes VAT.

Yes. If you decide you do not want to pay the fee, you will need take your old tyres with you and repurpose or responsibly dispose of them. Local Household Recycling centres can charge as much as £3-£5.50 per tyre.

We automatically add the fee for online bookings. When our fitter is changing your tyres, please let them know you want to keep your tyres and we will process a refund of the fee.

Sometimes a full postcode, i.e. WN6 0XU, is not recognised. Try entering the first part of the postcode, i.e. WN6 4 or WN6. The postcode is only used to help narrow down the nearest fitting centre for you and to provide a map and a set of directions..

If you wish to cancel your order before your chosen fitting date, please notify us in writing at customersupport@tyre-shopper.co.uk or by telephone on 0800 731 0133 .

Tyres with an original receipt that remain unused and undamaged can be returned for an exchange or a full refund within 14 days of delivery OR 30 days if the goods are faulty. If you are not completely happy with your purchase, simply contact customersupport@tyre-shopper.co.uk or call our customer services team on 0800 731 0133 and we will make arrangements for you to return your tyre to the original fitting centre.

Tyre Shopper process refunds within 2 business days. Refunds are processed using the same payment method used for the purchase. Refunds to credit or debit cards can take 7+ working days to show up in the account. Your card issuer can advise how long you’ll wait until a refund will be visible in your account.

An earlier fitting date than shown on the website may be possible. Please call our customer services team on 0800 731 0133 and they will do their best to offer an earlier booking date.

We have tried to ensure that the most popular tyre brands are listed on this site, which is subject to their availability in the UK. If you’re looking for a brand that we haven’t listed, please contact us to see if we can place a special order for you.

We carefully select our fitting partners and each centre is audited by us 4 times every year. All our technicians are fully trained to City and Guilds standards. We have a long-standing working relationship with National Tyres and Autocare who have many fitting centres around the UK.

The Tyre Shopper star rating system is an aggregate rating based on both our experience and customer feedback. The criteria for the star system includes variables like wet and dry traction; tyre wear versus mileage; quality versus price; steering responsiveness and cornering stability; and, ride comfort and smoothness.

“Toe” refers to whether the front of the tyres is closer or further apart than the rear of the tyres. Different types of vehicles need different toe settings to allow for the way that wheels pull either towards each other or apart.
