I can only Compare the tyres to the ones I replaced, it took a while to get used to the Avon tyre, I only changed brands because the wear of the old make was not good I was always paying out to replace them, So far the Avon tyre has not worn.i am pleased with the change, & is used to the control issues these bring.

Always used Bridgestone tyres until I discovered the Avon ZZ series. Initially the ZZ3 which I loved however switched to the ZZ5 on my B8 A4 as couldn't get the ZZ3 in 18 inch . Both the tyres and tyreshopper are fantastic

Probably not the best person to review as I do relatively low mileage & the car is 4 wheel drive.

A good value branded tyre with decent wear levels and grip in the wet. Third set and no complaints.

super grip both wet and dry.not too noisy.plenty of feedback thru the wheel.they just drift nicely if you push on,makes the car feel like rear wheel drive, back end moves first. All they need are white letters from factory please.

These tyres (255x35x20) are one of the best I have had, and have brilliant grip in the wet

Replaced 2 Continental and 2 Pirelli. The Avon is a much cheaper tyre and but in my opinion is just as good if not better than either Pirelli or continental.

Roland Bushell - 18th May, 2012

Bought these tyres rather than the tyres fitted by the manufacturer - and there was a noticeable improvement in all key areas as a result. Too early to determine wear quality really - have done just 6,000 miles, but so far, so good.

Large tread pattern prone to picking up small stones and chippings creating clicking noise at low speed. They need constant checking for these "foreign bodies". Wide low profiile will always be noisier and with a harder ride but they do not compromise on overall comfort and safety.

Excellent Tyre for the price, just as good as my old Pirelli's which cost a lot more

After 3 months I cannot really give an accurate feel for most of the above but certainly there is more road noise and road feeling comes through these tyres than the originals
