Manufacturer: Westlake
Tyre: Westlake RP18

Overall, the Westlake RP18 tyre is a fantastic value for money proposition. In wet and difficult conditions, the risk of aquaplaning has been reduced significantly. Due to this, you can feel confident driving in difficult, rainy conditions. Braking distances have been minimised to improve overall driver safety. The Westlake RP18 tyre also allows for maximum control when driving, no matter how difficult the road surface may be. The fantastic grip levels also help increase the steering responsiveness on both dry and wet road surfaces.

Better(much) than the oem dunlops and the same level of grip wet or dry as the Pirelli P7's which were good but feel more like michelins from a feedback through the wheel.......which has surprised me a lot given the price of these! I usually go for Barum tires as a budget but decent performance tire which tend to get lower mileage(wear) than the top name brands and given the slightly softer compound of these tires I expect the same. They soak up uneven road surfaces without issue and wet weather confidence is good even on cold roads cornering or braking. I was expecting poor performance from these tires given the price but I've been impressed so far and will buy again.
